FAQ

What is package design and why is it so important?

Package design is an effective marketing tool for brands to distinguish themselves and stand out. It is the first contact with potential clients and a tool to achieve a lasting impression . At Modapac we specialize in creating unique packaging designs that not only safeguard the product, but are attractive and environmentally friendly.

Who designs packaging for products?

Our team of graphic designers, packaging engineers, and creative strategists work together to create one-of-a-kind package design. However, if you have your own designers, we can assist and provide recommendations, and dielines.

How to start the process of a Package design?

Our collaboration begins with a conversation to understand your needs and brand’s objectives. We will create various mood boards and sketches of products that reflect alternatives of your project. Once a direction is determined, we transform the preliminary ideas into 3D mockups that are realistic and a great way to provide feedback, apply changes, and visualize the end product.

Do you offer ecofriendly packaging solutions?

Our team is constantly seeking out new innovations in the field of Green Packaging Solutions and while creating beautiful designs, we are focused on sustainable practices. We offer 100% post consumer recycled corrugated boxes, soy based printing inks, biodegradable plastic (PLA), corn starch products, and SFI certified paper to name a few. As each project is unique, and has its’ own challenges, we investigate the options available every single time.

Can you advise on materials and printing techniques?

Every project is unique. Our team will analyze the packaging requirements and provide suggestions that will ensure product safety, attractiveness, and adherence to budget.

When should orders be placed?

We recommend placing orders 4-5 months before the product is needed. This time frame will allow for design revisions and approval, sample reviews, preparation and shipping in a timely manner. For example, June would be the month to finalize a project and order, to have a product ready for the holidays (October - November).

Can you make products that are not cited on your website?

Yes! At Modapac we have a wide network of suppliers and can source all kind of printing and packaging using a wide variety of materials (cloth, paper, cardboard, etc).  NO LIMIT, JUST ASK!
